Where do we go on the Open Road lesson?

We have designed set routes across NSW that cover country roads, freeways, highways, gravel surfaces, and high speed overtaking.

These routes are currently located in the Blue Mountains & Wisemans Ferry, Royal National Park, Ku-ring-gai National Park & Newcastle.

 

How Long Is An Open Road Lesson?

The Open Road Lesson is approx 4-4.5hr hours with a Road Sense Driving Instructor, starting at 8-9 am to make the most of your day with excellent views along the way.

 

What Are The Requirements To Do An Open Road Session?

Hold a valid drivers license to drive in NSW
At least 80 hours of driving experience
Be a current Road Sense student. (If you haven’t had lessons with Road Sense before, that’s okay! You can book a lesson with one of our instructors and we’ll make sure you’re ready for the Open Road Lesson.
Be competent in Secondary traffic (to be assessed by one of our driving instructors)
Be approved by your Road Sense Driving instructor
